8 Week Ski Instructor Course

A more condensed version of our 10 week course.

If you have more time check out our 10 week ski course.
If you are really short of time have a look at our 5 week Intensive ski course, or our 5 week Level 1 ski course.

SITCo's 8 week ski course is our original idea but on a shortened timeframe. There will still be time for a lot more than just training and exams. On the 8 week course you will have the opportunity to do all the things that are on the 10 week course, you may find though that you are thrown in at the deep end when you arrive. Once you are up to speed you will still have time to enjoy everything a winter in Queenstown has to offer.

Dates: 15th July - 9th Sept 2012

Cost: NZ$12,800

Book now! Save NZ$500

Accommodation is from the dates above with on snow training beginning on the 16th of July. The final exam will finish on the 7th September; therefore there will be time to acclimatize, before and after. Your lift pass will be valid for the whole season.

On successful completion of the 8 week ski course you will train for the NZSIA Level 1 and Level 2 qualifications.

The program is designed to allow to come down and do everything that you could do for the long course but in a shorter timeframe. This does mean that things can be a little more intense at times, but you will still get to do everything, you will even get to go on a Heli ski day out!

What is it like on a SITCo Course?

It is hard to imagine what it will be like, so maybe the easiest way for you to get a feel is to look at these video clips of people who have done ski instructor training before.
